The meeting between the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, A.B. Mahmoud SAN, CHAMS Plc and Presidential aspirants for the forthcoming NBA 2018 National Elections, concerning the controversy on conflict of interest as it affects the chairman of CHAMS Plc has been shifted to tomorrow, the 20th of July, 2018. The rescheduling of the meeting was expedient following a deadlock of the meeting which ought to have been held yesterday. TheNigerialawyer (TNL) gathered that except for Prof. Ernest Ojukwu who was absent, other aspirants arrived the venue of the meeting, late. TheNigerialawyer gathered further that various issues were raised by the panel of enquiry that sat over the matter, such as verification by proxies. TNL also learnt that the number of voters verified was not up to twenty percent (20%) of the number of voters registered. This and many more had led to the credibility of the CHAMs Plc, been questioned. Following the shift, therefore, it is most likely that the NBA ICT partners will know its fate come Today.
