The Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates (SCMA) in Collaboration with the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Institute of Continuing Legal Education are set to offer a course on introduction to Mediation Advocacy Skills

The training is to enable lawyers acquire skills of the new practice of law through the Multi-Door Courthouses and to meet the 21st century demand for “multidisciplinary skills of Mediation Advocacy indicated by negotiation, psychology, commercial sagacity, and a team strategy approach to the provision of legal solutions in civil and commercial causes.”

The course fee is N35, 000 and is slated for 5th and 6th of August, 2020 to hold online by 10am – 2:30pm daily

Those eligible to attend are legal practitioners, in-house counsel, professionals (Engineers, Accountants, HR Practitioners, Medial Professionals, etc.) Senior Public Servants as well as Corporate Executives in the Private Sector and Referrers to ADR.
