The Nigerian Bar Association, Benin Branch is mourning the demise of a young lawyer, Blaze Guobadia, Esq.

In a notice issued by the Publicity Secretary, Douglas Ogbankwa, Esq., the Chairman and Secretary of the branch poured out tribute describing the deceased as Julius Caeser who came, saw and conquered.

The Nigerian Bar Association, (N.B.A.) Benin Branch Mourns Blake Goubadia Esq.

The Nigerian Bar Association, Benin Branch has been thrown into a State of profound mourning by the demise of Blaze Guobadia Esq.,a Young Lawyer who until his demise was in the Office of Solomon Odiase & Co., a Law firm in Benin City.

The Chairman of the Branch, Prince Collins Benson Ogiegbaen A.I.C.M.C and the Secretary, Pius Idemudia Oiwoh A.I.C.M.C ,in a Statement issued on Saturday,11th May 2019, rued the demise of the astute Blake Guobadia. They, however, indicated that just like Caeser,”he came, he saw and he conquered”, an attribution to the short but very eventful life the late Blake Guobadia lived which was full of life, successful legal practice and an amiable social relationship with friends, colleagues, and family.

They stated further that, “A lion has gone home “, as Blake Guobadia displayed in his life time tremendous courage and a mien of equanimity in moments of adversity .

They sent heartfelt condolences to the Guobadia Family of Benin, the Chambers of Solomon Odiase & Co., the N.B.A. Benin Young Lawyers’ Forum and the Benin Bar as a whole which has lost a shinning light among Young Lawyers.

They prayed that his soul should rest in perfect peace and asked the family, friends and colleagues alike who are in mourning to find solace in the fact that Blake Guobadia lived a fulfilled life!
