The Members and Executives of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), have expressed shock over the demise of Honourable Dr. Chike Amobi, Esq,.

Dr. Chike Amobi, Esq,. was an Abuja-based lawyer whose untimely death occurred yesterday, in the United State.

In a condolence message by the branch Chairman, Bulus Y. Atsen and the secretary, Eric Ibe, made available to TheNigeriaLawyer, the branch described late Dr. Chike as a “gentleman par excellence”.

“The Members and Executives of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), are completely devastated by the news of the demise of Dr. Chike Amobi, Esq. The members of the Branch and indeed the NBA at large are struggling to terms with this sad reality.

“Dr. Amobi, Esq., a gentleman par excellence, will be remembered as an eloquent, forthright and vocal legal practitioner and a committed Bar man.

“On behalf of the members and EXCO of the NBA Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), we hereby extend our condolences to the family of Dr. Amobi, Esq. and pray the Almighty to give us all the fortitude to bear this painful loss,” the message stated.
