The Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch, also known as the Unity Bar, has released its first list of eligible voters for the forthcoming 2026 Branch Elections.

The list, titled “Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch, First List of Eligible Voters for the 2026 Elections,” contains the names of 496 members qualified to participate in the electoral process.

According to the notice, members are advised to carefully check the published list and verify their details ahead of the election.

Members who have complaints about omission of names, or who reasonably believe that they ought to be included in the voters’ register, have been directed to visit the Branch Secretariat for final reconciliation and update of the register.

The reconciliation exercise will take place on Thursday, July 16, and Friday, July 17, 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day.

The Branch Secretariat is located at Flat 15, Block 2, FCDA Quarters, Kashim Ibrahim Way, Wuse II, Abuja.

The notice further stated that the NBA Abuja Branch election will now hold on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the Ceremonial Court Room, High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Maitama, Abuja.

 

Voting will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.

The Branch said the election will be conducted manually by secret ballot.
