Rising from its emergency general meeting today at the Bar Centre, Ikeja the LOC resolved to immediately open bids for sale of the stalls at the CMP, popularly called “Mammy Market.” With only a limited number of stalls up for grabs by interested exhibitors, a source close to the LOC noted that the stalls “shall be on offer for a limited period and strictly on first come, first served basis. We do not envisage the offer being open beyond weekend, in light of several enquiries already being received.” The LOC urged interested exhibitors to contact the following LOC members for enquiries: Chris Okoye (0803.305.3438); Adesina Ogunlana (0803.485.4066); Charity Sagade (0802.361.2715) or Uche Nwadialo (0809.803.0060). It was gathered that the entire LOC team will tomorrow relocate to the serene Oniru Private Beach, Victoria Island (venue of the CMP) with its picturesque sea-view ambience, to commence demarcation and construction of the stalls. The Conference Market Place is one venue where conferees are expected to make quick purchases to enrich their libraries and wardrobes among others, enjoy fine dining and generally unwind while networking with new and old friends.]]>
