A prominent Anambra-based legal practitioner, Nnamdi Chukwudebelu, narrowly escaped death after his vehicle somersaulted multiple times along the Umunze–Amansea Road, precisely at Ozu Village, Ndiukwuenu, while heading to Awka.

Chukwudebelu, an Associate Counsel with Kingsley Iruba & Associates, was driving his Mercedes-Benz 4MATIC SUV 350 back from a court session at the High Court in Umunze when the accident occurred.

According to eyewitness accounts, the vehicle somersaulted more than six times after he swerved to avoid a head-on collision with an oncoming vehicle.

Speaking with TheNigeriaLawyer, his family members disclosed that he has since undergone a series of medical scans and other health checks, and the family is currently awaiting some results. While he remains in serious pain, he is said to be in high spirits.

Expressing gratitude for his survival, Chukwudebelu humbly said, “The Lord preserved me.”

The legal community and well-wishers have continued to send prayers for his speedy recovery.
