Handing down the notice while sensitizing the traders yesterday, the sector monitor, covering Apo, Gudu and parts of Garki area, Hassan Ogbole frowned that the traders and Keke operators have converted the walkways into shops and parking spaces. Ogbole warned the traders to vacate the area within the seven-day period or be ready to face the full weight of the law, adding that the administration will commence enforce of the evacuation order at the end of the grace period. He disclosed that at the end of the ultimatum, the administration would commence the arrest and prosecution of defaulters, just as he advises the affected traders and Keke Napep operators to leave the area in good time or face the consequences. Responding, the chairman for Gudu Market Keke Operators, Ire Nnadi pleaded with the administration to give them more time to enable the operators look for an alternative place for loading and offloading passengers in the market.]]>
