MEMBERS OF A CHURCH MAY APPLY FOR ITS DISSOLUTION.
In Nigeria, the members of a Church or similar organisations registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission may apply to the Court for its dissolution where in their opinion, it has become an illegal entity.
Members making the application for dissolution must constitute atleast 50% of its total membership.
See Section 608 (2)(c) of the Companies and Allied Matters Act.
