The Lawyers In Business Institute (LIBI), in partnership with the Nigerian Bar Association Legal Entrepreneurship Committee (NBA LEC), has announced its 2025 Christmas Cocktail and Award Night, scheduled to honour Sir Babatunde Ogala SAN, OFR.

The event, themed “A Lawyer with Multiple Income Streams and the Remuneration Order: A Case for Diversification and Innovation in the Legal Profession,” will take place on 16 December 2025 at the NBA House, Mohammed Buhari Way, CBD, Abuja, starting at 4:00 p.m. prompt.

Chief Emeka J.P. Obegolu SAN, Ph.D, Chairman of the NBA Remuneration Committee and President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will deliver the keynote address.

The Guest of Honour is Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh SAN, the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology.

Also scheduled to speak is Hon. Mohamed Ndayako SAN, Chairman of the NBA Legal Entrepreneurship Committee.

According to the organisers, the award segment will celebrate distinguished Senior Advocates, judges, and legal practitioners who have excelled as “Champions of Diversification in the Legal Profession.”

Chief Emeka Silas Agbara Esq, Administrator of LIBI and Secretary of the NBA Legal Entrepreneurship Committee, said the event aims to promote innovation and economic expansion among legal professionals.

He encouraged members of the legal community to attend, adding that the initiative aligns with ongoing advocacy for improved remuneration and broader income opportunities for lawyers.
