The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has notified legal practitioners and law firms in the country of the desire of the Nigerian Law School to update its list of law firms available to receive Law School externship placements.
In a notice signed by the NBA General Secretary, Joyce Oduah, FICMC, the need for an update of the list is necessitated by the challenges faced by the Law school in the posting exercise occasioned by the obsoleteness of the current list.
It therefore requests interested law firms to fill the attached form and submit to their NBA branch chairman on or before the 26th of January, 2022.
TheNigeriaLawyer recalls that the Director General of the Nigerian Law School, Prof Isa Hayatu Chiroma SAN, had on 22nd October, 2021, written to NBA requesting it to submit a comprehensive List of its members who are interested in accepting Law interns in their Firms
Prof Chiroma further stated that the list requested will be used for the posting of student in February, 2022.
