The Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has dissociated herself from the tweet stating that the Federal Government has secured the release of the 333 boys abducted from Government Science Secondary school, Kankara, Katsina State.

She said she lost control of the handle to hackers who earlier tweeted that:

“Yaay, the 333 boys captured in katsina have been rescued. Alhamdulillah!

“Buhari administration has brought back our boys. BringBackOurBoys. Our boys are back”.

However, the above tweet was later deleted minutes after it was tweeted.

Therefore, she initially debunked the tweet noting that same is not from her handle, in response to a retweet, where she said “Not my handle. Beware of fake handles.”

Meanwhile, she has further dissociated herself, noting that her Twitter and Instagram accounts were hacked but have now been recovered.

“Pls don’t credit any post on katsina boys to my Twitter handle. I lost control of my handle in the last couple of minutes, along with my Instagram. I have recovered and changed my password”, she tweeted.

TheNigeriaLawyer recalls that the tweet on FG securing the release of the 333 boys came barely after Boko Haram Commander, Abubakar Shekau, in a circulated video stated that they have captured the 333 school boys.
