The High Court of Lagos state has waived payment of default fees for filing of court processes.

This is contained in a Circular signed by the Chief Registrar of the State, Mrs. O. A Okunuga, sighted by TheNigeriaLawyer.

The Registrar said the Chief Judge of the State, Hon. Justice K.O Alogba, has directed that the period of the strike, 6th April to 14th June, has been exempted for computation of time.

“Please recall the JUSUN strike which has just been called off.

“Take Notice that the Hon. Chief Judge, Hon. Justice K.O Alogba has directed that the period, 6th April 2021 – 14th June 2021, shall be excluded in the computation of default fees wherever applicable.

“Please circulate and ensure compliance” the circular reads in part
