The committee has also apologized to eligible voters yet to vote in the NBA national election. This was contained in a statement released by the committee secretary, Bolaji Agoro, dated 18th August, 2018. As contained in the statement, the extension of time is due to the the delay experienced as a result of the update of data to the voting E-Platform online. Below is the statement from the committee secretary. 18th August, 2018 Dear Colleague, APOLOGY FOR THE DELAY IN THE COMMENCEMENT OF VOTING EXERCISE The ECNBA apologises to members for the delay in the commencement of the e-voting for the 2018 NBA National Officers Elections. This is due to a minor technical hitch experienced in the course of uploading data to the e-voting platform. We are however happy that the challenges have been fully overcome. The Committee is aware of the eagerness of members to exercise their franchise and apologise for the anxiety the delay has caused. The Committee has extended the voting hours to cater for the lost hours. In this regard, voting now starts at 6:45pm on Saturday 18th August, 2018 and ends at 6:00am on Monday 20th August, 2018. We appreciate the calls and the messages sent by concerned members and the patience exhibited in the last few hours. Dated this 18th day August, 2018 Bolaji Agoro Esq, Secretary ECNBA]]>
