Verification portal for the NBA Election remains open. This is the notice given by the Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association to members of the bar. According to the Committee, this was necessary following the various complaints lodged at the desk of the Committee’s secretariat by branch chairmen over the difficulties faced by members in the verification process. 5th August 2018 Dear Colleague, VERIFICATION PORTAL TO REMAIN OPEN: ECNBA ADVISES VOTERS The Electoral Committee of NBA (ECNBA) hereby notifies voters that we have directed the service provider to maintain the availability of the verification portal beyond 10.00am this morning. This is with a view to enabling all complaints received pertaining to challenges encountered by voters are fully and satisfactorily resolved. We assure members that no voter, whose name is on the register already published and has had his name duly sent by a branch, is disenfranchised. The ECNBA urges members to promptly respond to either email or text messages sent to them by the service providers to conclude their verification. The ECNBA is working round the clock to attend to all outstanding verification issues. We have endeavoured to carry along all stakeholders and are grateful for their support. While we work hard to resolve all such issues, we apologize for inconvenience caused and plead for the support and understanding of colleagues. Thank you. Bolaji A. Agoro, Esq. Secretary (ECNBA)]]>
