Renowned Nigerian lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), J.S. Okutepa, has been thrown into mourning following the death of his daughter, Ojochide Okutepa.

The heartbreaking news was announced on Sunday, June 8, through an emotional post on Okutepa’s official Facebook page, where he expressed deep sorrow over the sudden loss.
“It is difficult to comprehend your sudden departure, my beloved daughter. In all, I give glory to God. It is difficult to come to terms with the reality of your death. Sleep well, Ojochide. It is well. It is well. It is well,” the grieving father wrote.
Confirming the tragic incident, Okutepa’s first son, Ocholi Okutepa Esq—a lawyer and Pentecostal pastor—also took to Facebook to mourn his sister.
“Hard to make this post but I am grateful for the years we had together. My dearly beloved baby sister Ojochide left this earth today!” he wrote.
The late Ojochide Okutepa was a medical practitioner. As of the time of this report, the family has not disclosed the cause of her death.
