*IS IT LEGAL FOR SECURITY OFFICERS POSTED TO PARTICULAR STATES TO ARREST SUSPECTS IN OTHER STATES. *

Any person that is authorised to make an arrest of any suspect, can pursue such a suspect to any part of Nigeria to make an arrest. All security officers have powers to make arrest in any part of Nigeria. They are not affected/limited by their state of origin or service.

My authorities are sections 28, 491, 494 and 495 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015 and other similar laws across States in Nigeria.
