The International Law Association (ILA) Nigeria Branch has announced the launch of the 2025 Dr. Adesegun Akin-Olugbade, OON Scholarship Prize for the Study of International Law and Diplomacy, aimed at empowering young legal minds in the field of international law.

The prestigious scholarship will cover full tuition for up to five young ILA Nigeria members to attend the Certificate of Advanced Studies in International Law and Diplomacy scheduled to take place in Abuja.

According to the announcement published via the official ILA Nigeria handle, only registered members of the ILA Nigeria Branch are eligible to apply. Interested applicants are required to submit a letter of application and a current CV via email to info@ila-nigeria.org.ng on or before the application deadline of June 30, 2025.

The association described the scholarship as a tribute to Dr. Adesegun Akin-Olugbade, OON, a respected international law expert and advocate, whose legacy continues to inspire young practitioners and scholars in the field of diplomacy and international legal practice.
