The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba has directed Osun Commissioner of Police (CP) Olaleye Faleye to investigate the alleged assault on woman Inspector, Olorunsogo Bamidele by her DCO in Ode Omu, Osun State.

A video of Bamidele has gone viral on almost all social Media handles where she was seen lamenting how her DCO, Ajayi Matthew, allegedly assaulted her for refusing a dating proposal.

According to a statement on Tuesday by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the IGP will wait for the report of the investigation before further actions are taken.

Adejobi said: “The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc+, NPM, NEAPS, fdc, CFR, has directed the Commissioner of Police, Osun State, CP Olaleye Faleye, to investigate the alleged assault on woman Inspector Olorunsogo Bamidele by her DCO in Ode Omu Osun State.
