The Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators has announced the July edition of its Mediator’s Connect Webinar Series, with a focus on the future of Alternative Dispute Resolution in the digital age.

The free webinar, titled “Zoom, Click, Resolve: The Future of ADR in a Digital Age,” is scheduled to hold on Thursday, July 30, 2026, by 2:00 p.m. West Africa Time.

According to the institute, the session will examine how technology is transforming the way disputes arise and are resolved, particularly as mediation and other ADR processes increasingly adopt digital platforms and innovative tools.

The webinar will also explore the opportunities and challenges of online dispute resolution, as well as the essential skills ADR practitioners need to remain effective in a rapidly changing digital environment.

The guest speaker for the session is Dr. Adeyemi Agbelusi, FICMC, FCIArb.

The programme will hold on Zoom and YouTube, and participants who register successfully will receive a confirmation email containing Zoom access details.

ICMC said participants at the session will earn 2 CPD units.

The institute noted that the webinar is suitable for mediators, arbitrators, ADR practitioners, legal professionals, academics, students and anyone interested in the future of dispute resolution in the digital era.
