Reality TV star Phyna has further addressed the controversies with social media personality VeryDarkMan, accusing him of breaching her trust during a difficult period.

In a video, Phyna explained that she had confided in VeryDarkMan about her sister’s health challenges, expecting confidentiality and support.

She, however, alleged that he went ahead to share a video without her consent, disclosing sensitive details about her sister’s condition and her personal life.

The Big Brother Naija winner said she felt hurt and disappointed, stressing that her sister, who is a breastfeeding mother, was at the center of her concerns.

She maintained that the information was never meant for public consumption, as her focus remained on ensuring her sister received proper medical care.

The controversy stems from Phyna’s efforts to secure treatment for her sister, who was reportedly left in critical condition after being hit by a Dangote truck driver.

She revealed that she had been engaging individuals and organisations to facilitate her sister’s treatment but believes VeryDarkMan’s actions have complicated the situation.

She said: “Yes, you can’t say come online. You talk, and I plead with you. Like a sister having two children? Yes.

“The thing is, I’m not trying to say children are blessings to a family, right? But there are some personal family matters that we didn’t want to put out there.

“Like, she’s not married, you get. She just got pregnant. See, as the child is there, we’re happy about the kids.

“But I didn’t feel we needed that part out there. She’s a graduate whose life just got shortened. She was able to graduate and still went to school even with that.

“She still went to school. So, I wanted us to, because you know how Nigerians can be, they say, ‘oh, she’s gonna be like, oh, eh, you mean she has kids, she’s not married.’ I just didn’t want those types of things out there. Let’s focus on what happened.

“I told him that day, when he said I was crying, yes, I was crying. I was uncontrollable that day. I was not myself.

“I was really not myself. He didn’t like it when he said I was crying. I was, oh God.

“I was really, really crying. I told him, I just needed to open up to him so he would understand my pain and understand where we were coming from. I told him my sister has kids.

“She’s breastfeeding. Yes, she’s a breastfeeding mother. Now that he has said it out, let’s call it spinning speed.

“She has a baby at hand. She has eight months, and we have eight months at hand that she’s breastfeeding, and all of this is up. Now, the baby has automatically stopped breastfeeding.

“I purposely didn’t bring it up because we didn’t want distraction, and we know how Nigerians can be. I didn’t need to say they were changing the topic. It’s a personal matter. We love the kids. I love the children. We love them.

“They are ours, but that’s not our motive here. I told him, I opened up. Almost everything he said, I was like, ‘oh, bro, see, oh, bro, see, oh, bro, see.’

“All my movements, he was aware of. He knows. I can’t even sleep. Throughout today, I just feel like a mad person.

“I don’t know what to do, because everything was cut out of my head. And they write to Dangote, because of information they get, and I said, Dangote, they leave, the man, they didn’t put you in the hospital, they would abandon you. That’s what it looks like, because the agreement was to take my sister out.

“But now you are saying that they are bringing professionals from another hospital. I’m not saying they cut them from another hospital to attend to her, but our plan was different. No one moved from there at all. There was somebody I confided in, waiting for him. I was eagerly waiting for his reply or call back, nothing.

“And suddenly, I’m seeing a video. No, the reason I did not leave voice notes is that he had not picked my call. And why? Because any information I give him at that point, he might likely post it. The reason I did that was because he recorded my call without telling me. So I was scared. I needed him to pick up. I get it.

“So I was scared to write because I might write to him, and he would not reply, and I’d see what I wrote online. Do you get? I just wanted him to pick up. So, if I start my conversation, I’ll say, ‘bro, I didn’t want to write anything because I didn’t want him to screenshot it.’

“And even that call, when you start recording somebody’s call, the person is supposed to know. I didn’t hear because I was crying. So I didn’t hear.

“So my plan was, if he picks up and I hear that he’s about to record, I’ll tell him, ‘bro, see oh, never get ahead though. This part, no more, never put him online.’ That was like, I kept on calling him consistently, giving him updates.

“I sit there, I don’t come out, I don’t reach out, call me back. I was calling directly, calling on WhatsApp. For real, I just feel like everything is against me.

“At this point, like if I woke up, I did it. I can’t leave him alone. Yeah, the way I just hear from you now, you talk, even the Dangote people talk to her.

“Yes, a girl came. She was in the room. Two girls, I mean, they were in the room. They were in the room, which were the people they sent.

“That is the girl who reached out to me directly. She came, she met me. She was telling me from outside the car, ‘in the car, before I even went inside.’

“She was telling me, ‘please, they will talk to you. Just don’t involve VeryDarkMan. They will talk to you.’

“When I reached, I told her, ‘I must see what she will tell me or say, I cannot involve her.’ She was like, ‘no now, for what? Will they go?’ I was happy. So, the guy kept on persisting.

“He gave her reasons for her ideas that we agreed on. You’re for no acceptance. See, I’m for no acceptance, but I want you to understand that I was not able to get them because I cried out.

“This lady, because she knew me personally and knew somebody there, she was the one who went to the office, spoke to them, and said, ‘you must answer this girl.’ It was from her phone. I was even talking to the men when she was at that apartment. She was the one who pleaded directly to him. Pleaded to me that now she gets them. She went there. It wasn’t even because of my shouting. They replied to my DM, because of nothing.

“That girl went there. She was the one who said she knew one person. This man is in a position. So, it was her phone. Through her phone, we spoke. In the apartment, VeryDarkMan was there.

“We spoke. We arranged the meeting. He knew everything. The only thing he didn’t know was when he didn’t take the calls.

“I didn’t sideline him. Now, the same thing we talked about on the phone… if none of that was talked about, or if they say they really sidelined me, you’re not going to tell me just to be careful.

“Check the minutes. It was just five minutes after that call, he sent that message. That’d be four minutes.

“Check the timing. It was just four or five minutes. Why go there? Why? Why? They wake up for money to tweet about.

“Shame, even, they catch me now because a lot of people don’t talk to me. I say, come on. I’m against you.

“I’m against you. Now they spit on my head, they say I betrayed. I’m like, how? I carried you along, told you everything.

“Honestly, I know it seems disorganized, me taking… Actually, we… we did pray because yesterday she woke up.”
