The High Court of Justice, Abeokuta, has notified the General Public that from henceforth, execution of judgement in Ogun State will be done by officers of the civil Defence through the Ogun State judiciary.

This was contained in a Circular Letter from the office of the Chief Registrar to all sectional heads of the High court and Magistrate Courts in the State.

In the letter dated the 30th day of April, 2019, signed by Mrs. A.I. Adelaja, the Deputy Chief Registrar III, and made available to TheNigerialawyer (TNL), various fees were listed out for categories of properties as stated.

The Schedule of fees to be paid is stated as follows:

  1. One Room/Shop ………………………… N20, 000.00 within Abeokuta, N25, 000.00 to be paid outside Abeokuta, e.g. Odeda, Mowe, Ifo etc.
  2. Room and Parlour …………………… N35,000 within Abeokuta, N40,000 outside Abeokuta.
  3. Three (3) Bedroom flat …………… N45,000.00 within Abeokuta/N50,000.00 outside Abeokuta.
  4. 1 to 5 Acres of Vacant land ……………… N200,000.00 (Every additional 1 plot will attract additional N100,000.00).
  5. Warehouses ……… N200,000.00.
  6. One (1) Plot of Occupied land ……. N150,000.00 (Every additional 1 plot will attract additional N50,000.00)
  7. Debt Recovery ……. 10% of the judgement sum up to N5M/Above N5M will attract 5% as fees payable.
