The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has announced the establishment of a dedicated Helpdesk by the Supreme Court of Nigeria to assist legal practitioners facing challenges during the ongoing Notaries Public Registration Exercise.

The Helpdesk aims to resolve issues related to legal email addresses and registration difficulties, ensuring a smoother registration process for all Notaries Public.

According to Dr. Mobolaji Ojibara, the General Secretary of the NBA, the Helpdesk will operate from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and will provide the following support channels:

1. Email Support: Notaries Public can direct their inquiries or complaints to notarysupport@nigerianbar.ng for prompt resolution.

2. WhatsApp Chat Support: A support representative will be available to engage with Notaries Public via WhatsApp at 070 43 655 655, offering real-time assistance.

3. Phone Support: Notaries Public can call 0704 365 5655 for immediate assistance with their registration-related concerns.

The Helpdesk is designed to streamline the resolution process by logging all complaints and forwarding unresolved cases to the appropriate technical teams at the National Judicial Council (NJC). This approach ensures prompt feedback and effective resolution of issues faced by Notaries Public during the registration process.

Dr. Ojibara encourages all Notaries Public encountering challenges with their legal email (@nigerianbar.ng) or other registration-related issues to utilize these support services. When seeking assistance, Notaries Public are requested to provide the following details: Supreme Court Number (SCN), Full Name, Phone Number, and Alternative Email Address.
