Kenyan hairdresser and student, Hellen Mutimu, has shared her side of a tumultuous alleged affair with Nigerian nightlife mogul, Cubana Chief Priest, which she claims resulted in the birth of their son.

In a 27-minute interview with content creator Lucky Udu, Mutimu detailed how she met Cubana Chief Priest in April 2022 at a restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos, during a visit for a friend’s wedding. According to her, their brief encounter led to intimacy and eventually a pregnancy.

Mutimu explained that Cubana Chief Priest, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, assured her of support when she informed him of the pregnancy. However, after she returned to Kenya, she alleges he blocked all communication channels, leaving her to face the pregnancy alone.

“He initially congratulated me and promised to take care of me, but two weeks after I returned to Kenya, he blocked me. I was left stranded,” Mutimu recounted.

During her pregnancy, Mutimu claims she struggled financially and had to close her salon business due to severe illness. She alleged that Cubana Chief Priest later reached out but only to request explicit photos, blocking her again when she refused.

“When I sent him pictures of our baby, he insulted me and called my child a bastard. The only financial assistance I’ve received from him was ₦300,000, sent in small instalments,” she said.

Despite the lack of support from Cubana Chief Priest, Mutimu revealed that Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh sent her ₦1 million, while Burna Boy reportedly offered her accommodation and a job in Nigeria.

“I am grateful to Tonto Dikeh and Burna Boy for their kindness. They have done more for me than the man who fathered my child,” she added.

Mutimu insisted that her intention is not to tarnish Cubana Chief Priest’s reputation but to secure a better future for her son.

“I respect Pascal because he is my child’s father. I didn’t come to social media to destroy his name or extort money. I just want my child to have a chance at a good life,” she concluded.

Meanwhile, Cubana Chief Priest has consistently denied the allegations, branding them as “cheap blackmail”, and challenged anyone to conduct a DNA test at their own expense.

The saga continues to generate widespread reactions online, with netizens divided over the claims and counterclaims from both parties.
