The 2025 Google DeepMind AI for Science Scholarships are now accepting applications, offering African students the chance to pursue fully-funded postgraduate degrees at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS).

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements to qualify for the scholarship:

  • Be African citizens and residents at the time of application.
  • Hold a four-year undergraduate degree or a three-year degree with an honors year completed by August or December 2025.
  • Have academic backgrounds in mathematics, physics, computer science, statistics, engineering, or related fields with strong mathematical or computational components.
  • Not have previously received an AIMS scholarship.
