The funeral rites have been announced for late Enugu-based lawyer Evangelist D.O.C Ezeigwe Esq., who passed away on December 14th, 2023 at the age of 70.

Popularly known as “EBF Evangelist,” Ezeigwe was a pillar of the legal community in Enugu State.
According to the funeral programme released by his family, there will be a special valedictory court session held in his honor at the Enugu State High Court on March 8th at 10AM. This will allow members of the judiciary to pay their last respects.
Other events include a service of songs and night of tributes at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Enugu on March 11th, followed by a commendation service at the same venue on March 13th.
His final funeral rites and interment will take place on March 15th in his hometown of Aguluezechukwu, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State.
This will involve a service of songs on the 14th evening.
Evangelist Ezeigwe is remembered for his unwavering support, elder statesmanship, and accessibility to the public. His warm personality earned him the affectionate name “EBF Evangelist” from peers and juniors alike at the bar. He will clearly be missed across legal circles in Enugu and beyond.
