Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has approved the appointment of 13 individuals to various boards and government establishments in the state.

The Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, made the announcement in a statement, emphasizing that the appointments will take effect immediately.
The list of appointees comprises distinguished professionals and experts from diverse fields. Among them are Prof. Bethrand Ngwu, who has been named the Chief Medical Director of ESUT Teaching Hospital, Parkane. Uche Anya has been appointed as the Executive Chairman of the Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority. Laurence Ani takes on the role of Executive Secretary for the Council for Arts and Culture.
Other notable appointments include Nnanyelugo Onyishi, who assumes the position of Executive Secretary for the Enugu State Economic Planning Commission. Dr. Sam Ogbu-Nwobodo has been designated as the General Manager of the Enugu State Investment Development Authority. Gerald Asogwa will serve as the General Manager of the Enugu State Housing Development Authority.
Furthermore, Dr. G.O.C. Ajah has been entrusted with the responsibility of Chairing the Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB). Dr. Amaka Ngene has been appointed as Member 1 of the Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board, while Dr. Hyginus Bankho takes up the position of Member 2.
The appointments continue with Nwakaego Aja, who joins as Member 3 of the Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB). Emmanuel Nnamani has been selected to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Internal Revenue. Rita Mbah assumes the role of Chairman for the Enugu State Tourism Board. Lastly, Amobi Paulinus Ezeaku has been designated as the General Manager of Rangers International Football Club.
These appointments reflect the state government’s commitment to assembling a team of qualified individuals to contribute to the growth and development of Enugu State across various sectors.
