The Lawyers in Business Mass-Housing & Land-Banking Scheme has continued to attract wide interest from the legal community, with several senior advocates, distinguished lawyers, and other professionals already building to roofing level, while some have moved into their homes.
According to the scheme’s administrator, Chief Silas E. Agbara Esq, Senior Associate at M.I. Dikko SAN & Associates and Secretary of the NBA (National) Legal Entrepreneurship Committee, the initiative provides affordable housing solutions as well as land-banking opportunities for wealth creation.
“Some lawyers need houses for themselves, their staff, tenants, or even for apartment and Airbnb businesses. Others simply want to invest in plots and divest later at higher value. This scheme caters to both,” Agbara said.
As part of activities for the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Annual General Conference (AGC) in Enugu 2025, the project will showcase its offerings at the exhibition stand, where visitors can win gifts and enjoy a special 15% discount on allocations.
The administrator further confirmed that the issuance of Certificates of Occupancy (C-of-O) to allottees has commenced, following approval by the FCT Minister, as reported in the Nation Newspaper of June 3, 2025.
An inspection exercise and additional allocations are scheduled for Sunday, August 17, 2025, between 5 pm and 7 pm, with the meeting point at the VON/Trademore Estate Junction, Airport Road, Abuja.
