The Ohagba family of Ihiala in Anambra State has unveiled detailed Funeral Obsequies for the burial of their Late Matriarch,Noble Lady (Nneoma) Rosemary Ohagba (LAUX; KSJI)*, deceased *mother of Okey Leo Ohagba, a past National Officer of the Nigerian Bar Association and Council Member of NBA-SPIDEL.

According to the Family’s Release, the Late Octogenarian, who died at the age of 84 years will be laid to rest on Friday, 26th January 2024 at Ihiala, Anambra State.

Thursday, 25th January 2024 – 4pm promt : Vigil Mass/ Night of Tributes @ the compound of Noble Sir (Iduu) W. A. Ohagba, KSJI, GJP. @ Umuebike Ubahuekwem Ihiala, in Ihiala LGA, Anambra State.

Friday, 26th January, 2024 – 10am prompt: Requiem Mass @ St. Gregory De Great Parish, Ubahuekwem Ihiala.

Reception/Condolence visits to follow afterwards @ St. Jude’s Primary School field, Umuebike Ubahuekwem Ihiala.

The Late Noble Lady (Nneoma) Rosemary Ohagba was a devout Christian of the Roman Catholic Faith, who lived a life of selfless service to God and humanity. She was a retired teacher, a disciplinarian and a true philanthropist. She was a mother to as many that encountered her while she lived.

She nurtured and led numerous groups and organisations within the Catholic church and beyond. She touched many lives; the poor, destitutes, downtrodden, motherless babies, Block-Rosary children, etc will all miss her motherly care and affection. The Church and the society will sorely miss her, but she will forever be remembered for those selfless deeds, quintessential leadership and guidance she rendered at her time.

May God grant the entire Ohagba family the fortitude to bear her irreparable loss. And may her soul continue to rest in heavenly paradise.
