The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) will begin its 2025 Annual General Conference with a special Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, August 24, 2025.

The service, regarded as an integral part of the conference’s opening activities, offers members an opportunity to express gratitude and seek divine blessings for the success of the gathering and the continued growth of the legal profession.

It will be held at the Cathedral Church of the Good Shepherd, located on Achi Street, Independence Layout, Enugu, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The NBA has extended invitations to members, dignitaries, and well-wishers to participate in the solemn event.

According to the Association, the Thanksgiving Service sets a reflective and reverent tone for the week-long conference, themed “Stand Out, Stand Tall.” It highlights the values of gratitude, faith, and service that underpin the noble profession of law.

Following the service, attendees will proceed to the official conference sessions, which promise intellectually engaging discussions and professionally enriching activities.

The NBA noted that the spiritual gathering underscores the holistic nature of the conference, designed to cater not only to the professional and social needs of members but also to their spiritual well-being.
