[EXTRA]: Members Of The Body Of Benchers In Nigerian Legal Profession [FULL LIST]

The Body of Benchers in the Nigerian Legal Profession consists of persons of the highest distinction and established by the dint of Section 3 of the Legal Practitioners Act which is “responsible for the formal call to the Bar of persons seeking to become legal practitioners” in Nigeria.

This was contained in the list of current members of the Body, which was made available to TheNigerialawyer(TNL), by the Secretary, Daniel M. Tela.

The incumbent Chairman of the Body is Mr. O. C. J. Okocha, MFR, SAN and the Vice-Chairman is Hon. Justice Olabode Rhodes-Vivour, CFR.

Notably, the Body has had 47 distinguished individuals as past Chairmen, while 32 amongst them are dead and also, the current Life Benchers are 141
