The Enugu State Ministry of Justice, in collaboration with the Nigerian Bar Association Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NBA-ICLE), on Thursday organised a one-day capacity-building training for its law officers to enhance legal response mechanisms and improve justice delivery in the state.

Held at Justice Umezulike Hall, High Court Complex, Enugu, the training carried the theme: “Strengthening Legal Capacity of Law Officers for Effective Legal Response and Justice Delivery.”

The programme was facilitated by Prof. Rev. Fr. Edwin Obimma Ezike, FCArb, and Mr. Ikechukwu Onuoma (SAN), who delivered expert sessions on professional competence, legal strategy, and modern justice administration.

Scheduled for Thursday, November 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event recorded full attendance, with participation declared compulsory for all law officers of the ministry. Each attendee was also awarded one Continuing Development Assessment (CDA) point by NBA-ICLE.

The Ministry described the training as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional capacity and ensure that prosecutors and legal officers are well equipped to meet the demands of a dynamic justice system.
