Enugu Attorney General Receives Obra Legal Interns On Courtesy Visit, Recalls Journey In Legal Profession

The interns of Obra Legal today, paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Attorney General and life Bencher, Miletus Ezee at the Ministry of Justice.

The interns were led Ikechukwu Onuoma Esq and Nnezi Ivenso partners in Obra Legal.

Introducing the interns, Ikechukwu Onuoma Esq gave a layout and significance of the internship and mentorship programme of Obra to the Honourable Attorney General of Enugu state, Miletus Eze who welcomed the interns.

Giving a speech, the Honorable Attorney General narrated his  speech with his career journey on being the Attorney General of the State. Furthermore, engaged in a discourse, he enunciated the nitty gritty of the administration of justice in Enugu State, as well as expounded on, the functions of the Attorney General and the need for the ministry of justice.

Also,  he continued on the function of the ministry and all its department.

He made it known that he oversaw the creation of the appeal section of the ministry which were in charge of the efficient drafting of briefs for appeal. According to the Honorable Attorney General, this was necessary for the proper prosecution of cases at appeal as a good brief is a necessary step to winning a case at appeal.

The interns on their own part were very inspired by the experience and speech of the Honorable Attorney General, they engaged him with relevant questions which was well answered by the Honourable the Attorney General after which Onyinyechi Nwobodo student of Reading University England and  intern at Obra Legal LLP gave the vote of the thanks.

This is the second significant courtesy visit that the Obra Legal Interns had paid in the month of July. You would recall their earlier courtesy visit to the Honorable Chief Justice of the Enugu State High Court and Other Justices of the Court.
