In a move to test the readiness of counsel to meet the changing legal needs of the State, lawyers in the Ekiti State Ministry of Justice will today sit for its second mock promotional examinations.

This was disclosed by the Special Assistant to the Attorney-General on Public Education & Communications, Olalekan Suleman in a statement on Friday.

According to him, the examinations is in furtherance of the commitment of the Government of Ekiti State to building the capacity of legal officers to deliver professional legal services to the government and people of Ekiti State.

Suleman said Key issues that will be subject of the test are knowledge of law, knowledge of public service rules, knowledge of government and policies among others.

He further stated that lawyers from grade level 12 and above will be participating in the examinations.

The mock examinations is the concluding activity of a week-long training programme for all its lawyers in the Ministry, facilitated by the Ekiti State office of capacity development and reforms.
