The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared the founder and Managing Director of AA&R Investment Group, Abdullahi Bashir Haske, wanted.

The anti-corruption commission, in a public notice signed by its Head, Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, informed that Haske, a son-in-law to former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, was being wanted by EFCC in an alleged case of criminal conspiracy and money laundering.
Haske holds the traditional title of Ciroma-Ganye of Adamawa, TRIBUNE ONLINE reports.
The EFCC urged anyone with useful information on the whereabouts of the 38-year-old Adamawa-born to contact any EFCC offices in Ibadan; Uyo; Sokoto; Maiduuri; Benin; Makurdi; Kaduna; Ilorin; Enugu; Kano; Lagos; Gombe; Port Harcourt or Abuja.
It further stated that information on the businessman could also be shared with the commission on its dedicated telephone number and email address, or the nearest police stations and other security agencies.
“The public is hereby notified that Abdullahi Bashir Haske, whose photograph appears above is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in an alleged case of criminal conspiracy and money laundering.
“Abdullahi is 38 years old and his last known address is: No 6 Mosley Road Ikoyi, Lagos State; 952/953 Idejo Street Victoria Island, Lagos State,” the notice stated.
Haske’s Etihad Oilfield Services, one of the companies under AA&R Investment Group, a conglomerate with interests in oil and gas, among others, is credited with discovering oil at the Kolmani River area of Bauchi State.
The businessman is said to be a major contractor to the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and was alleged to have been awarded lucrative contracts by the new management of the country’s oil company.
It was learnt that Haske is being investigated by EFCC as part of the larger investigations of NNPCL top management staff involved in the refurbishment of Nigeria’s moribund refineries in Warri, Port Harcourt, and Kaduna said to have gulped billions of dollars but yet to function properly.
