The Benin branch of The Nigerian Bar Association is ready to kickstart its 2019 Law week.

The law week will take place at NBA Benin House, 1 N.B.A Avenue, Behind High Court, G.R.A, Benin City, on the 1st-5th July 2019 by 9 am.

The theme of the Law Week is “Advancing Nigerian Democratic Outlook: The Role of Law”.

According to the Law Week Planning Committee led by Kingsley O. Odabi Esq, the event which promises to be an eclectic mix of activities will commence its activities on Saturday, 29th July, 2019, with road work/run, and the take-off point is from the NBA Benin  Bar House.

The opening event will take place at the Exquisite Uyi Grand Event Centre, an exotic and choice Venue, situated in a serene and exclusive Environment where the Honourable Chief Judge of Edo State, Justice Efe Frances Ikponmwen, FCJEI, will Chair the Opening Session of the 2019 NBA Benin Law Week.

The Positively Radical Lagos Lawyer, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa one of the Legal Pathfinders in  Nigerian  Constitutional Democracy, will deliver the Keynote address on the opening day of the Law a week.

Other syndicated Sessions earmarked for the Week shall border “On the Journey so far in the Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Edo State, the Restructuring of the Nigerian State, The Independence of the Judiciary, Issues bordering on professional ethics, et al”.

Alternative Chairman/Chairman Publicity Sub-Committee of the 2019 NBA Benin Law Week, Douglas Ogbankwa, stated that the Law Week will also have extra legal activities like a health talk, a table tennis tournament, a designated Cocktail on the last day of the Week to be hosted by the Honourable, Chief Judge of the Edo State, Justice Efe Frances Ikpomwen, FCJEI.

“The Law Week promises to be filled with fun, glitz and pedagogical verizon, that will expand the Horizons of Members of the Branch,” he added.

0-5 years post call–N2000

6-10 years post call–N4000

11-15 years post call–N6000

16-20 years post call–N8000

21 and above post call–N10,000
