The Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) has announced an extension of the ongoing voter verification process until Friday, June 7, 2024.

The decision was made to provide members with additional time to confirm their details on the voter list and ensure the accuracy of their information.
In a notice released by the ECNBA, members are encouraged to take advantage of the extended deadline by visiting the ECNBA website (www.ecnba.org) and accessing the voter list section. Alternatively, members can directly access the voter list by clicking on the link provided (https://www.ecnba.org/prel.vot.list.search.php).
The ECNBA clarified that members whose details are correct do not need to take any further action and can simply exit the page. However, members with incorrect details, such as phone numbers or email addresses, are advised to update their information by selecting the relevant button on the webpage and following the prompts to fill out and submit the form.
The extension of the voter verification deadline is aimed at ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the voter list, which is crucial for the upcoming NBA elections. The ECNBA emphasizes the importance of members’ cooperation in this process to facilitate a smooth and transparent electoral process.
The notice, dated June 3, 2024, was signed by the Chairman of the ECNBA, Oluseun Abimbola SAN, and the Secretary, Huwaila Muhammad Ibrahim.
