The Council of Legal Education, and Nigeria Law School administration  has outlined requirements for the Call to Bar screening – a key step for law graduates pursuing legal practice.

Applicants must provide the following:

  • Evidence of N30,000 payment to the Body of Benchers for Call to Bar processing into the designated Zenith Bank account
  • Proof of N10,000 payment into the Council of Legal Education account for 50th Anniversary Alumni fee
  • Original and photocopies of LL.B certificate
  • Original and photocopy of Nigerian Law School ID card
  • Printout of candidate’s Nigerian Law School result

The Call to Bar screening enables the Nigerian Law School to verify applicants have completed requisite academic and professional training.

Meeting these requirements is mandatory for prospective lawyers to be admitted to the Bar and licensed to provide legal services.

The screening process is crucial for upholding educational and ethical standards in the legal profession. The guideline provides clarity for law graduates pursuing their Call to Bar.

All aspiring lawyers are advised to ensure they fulfill the specified conditions to scale the screening.

The Screening Dates and Times Announced for Saturday, September 23rd (12-5 PM) and Sunday, September 24th (1-6 PM)
