The Council of Legal Education has released the criteria for the application and admission of law graduates for the 2021/2022 Academy Session for Bar Part II.

As gathered by TheNigerialawyer(TNL), the programme will commence on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, simultaneously at the headquarters, Bwari Abuja campus, and the other campuses in Enugu, Kano, Yola, and Yenegoa.

The state reads: “This is to inform all intending applicants for admission into the Bar Part II Course for the 2021 Academic Session that application will commence on Wednesday, July 14, 2021

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: The programme is open to law graduates of Nigerian Universities and foreign-trained law graduates who have successfully completed and passed the Bar Part I course at the Nigerian Law School.

METHOD OF APPLICATION: Intending applicants should go to the Nigerian Law School website at www.nigerianlawschool.edu.ng for instructions on the procedure for application.

CLOSING DATE: Downloaded Application forms together with the references on applicants must be completed and returned to the Law School via the Dean’s of the Faculties of the Law on or before Friday, August 13th, 2021. LATE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Only candidates whose data were forwarded to the Nigerian Law School, by Deans of their respective Facilities are eligible to apply. Each candidate must therefore confirm his/her name on the Nigerian Law School website before proceeding to pay the application fee. Under no circumstance shall individual candidates approach the Nigerian Law School directly or through Parent(s)/Guardians, for admission.

Approved re-admission candidates and cleared referred cases, are to check for their names under re-admission, on the portal and then apply.

Such candidates are to attach copies of their approval or clearance letters to their application forms and dispatch the same to the Secretary to the Council of Legal Education and Director of Administration, at the Nigerian Law School Headquarters, Abuja.

Applicants are to note their Application Numbers to access their admission status subsequently, please.
