One the leading NBA Presidential Aspirant, Yakubu Chonoko (Y. C) Maikyau SAN and his Friends arrived Keffi and in Company of the Branch Chairman, Yakubu Moses Ede paid a Courtesy visit to Prof. ONJE GYE Wado (Former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State & Former Dean of the Nasarawa State University Faculty of Law, and Dean Faculty of Law Birmingham University).

Y. C Maikyau SAN informed Prof. Onje that he was in Keffi to interact with colleagues from the Branch and when he was informed that the Prof. was around, he deemed it fit to stop by and greet Prof before proceeding to the Venue of the interaction as a sign of respect to the Professor of Law. Y C Maikyau further thanked Prof. for the audience granted him and his friends.
In his response, Prof. Onje expressed his happiness for the visit and informed YC Maikyau that in view of his background and considering where comes from, he has no doubt that YC has the capacity to do the job.
He admonished YC Maikyau SAN to consider NBA within the context of what is happening in the Nation when elected as our President.
He said Lawyers are the engine change and in expressing his support added that ” For us at the Nasarawa Bar we consider the one who comes to us.
