In Nigeria, it is an offence to sell any breast milk substitute or infant formula in a container unless the container bears a statement in English language and the three main languages thus:
“Breast milk is the best food for the child as it prevents diarrhea, chest pain and other diseases.
Imprisonment not exceeding 2 years imprisonment or fine not exceeding N1,000
