The letter to the IGP dated March 27, 2017 and signed by Barr David Ibeawuchi, accused Ibrahim Baba Hassan of forging a Diploma in Business Administration, purportedly obtained from University of Jos dated November 25, 1996. In the petition filed following a complaint by Alhaji Jamilu Baba, the University of Jos allegedly denounced the certificate as forged. Obla said: “I am now in public service, the law firm is being managed by others.” The lawyers requested the IGP to immediately initiate the prosecution with regards to the speedy manner the police commenced the case of arrested INEC staff in Rivers State, adding that it will aid in the fight against corruption. “We are not ignorant that the University of Jos has transmitted all relevant documents to aid the prosecution of this case. “We have in fact written to the University of Jos to send in a reminder in this regard, which they responded by informing us that they have submitted therelevant documents for investigation,” Ibeawuchi said in the letter.]]>
