The Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) has announced its upcoming Mediation Skills Accreditation and Certification Course, scheduled to take place from March 3rd to 7th, 2025 at NECA House in Ikeja, Lagos.

The five-day training program, which runs from 9am to 5pm each day, is open to professionals from all disciplines and vocations. The course aims to equip participants with essential mediation skills that can be applied in both personal and professional settings.

According to the ICMC, mediation skills are life-skills that are crucial for building and sustaining relationships. The training will provide participants with practical, concrete, and behaviorally specific techniques for managing conflicts and dealing more effectively with others.

The course fee is set at N350,000 (Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) and includes the cost of training materials and certification. Upon successful completion of the training and induction into the Institute, participants will be qualified to use the title “AICMC” (Associate Member, Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators).

The ICMC encourages its members to share details of the upcoming training with family, friends, and associates who may be interested in developing their mediation skills.
