The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has announced that its next National Executive Council (NEC) meeting will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Benin Motel Plaza Marquee, Benin City, Edo State.

According to a notice issued by the NBA General Secretary, Dr. Mobolaji Ojibara, NEC members are expected to arrive on Wednesday, November 19, and depart on Friday, November 21, 2025. The meeting will commence at 9:00 a.m. prompt.

The agenda for the session includes:

  • NEC Prayer
  • Review of the Minutes of the last Pre-Conference NEC Meeting held on August 23, 2025
  • Matters Arising from the Minutes
  • President’s Speech
  • National Secretariat Report
  • Reports from Sections, Fora, and Committees
  • State of the Nation
  • Any Other Business

Attendance at the meeting, the notice emphasized, is strictly limited to National Officers, Past Presidents, Past General Secretaries, Branch Chairmen and Secretaries, Chairmen and Secretaries of Sections, Fora and Committees, Co-opted NEC Members, and Pre-registered Observers.

Dr. Ojibara added that the meeting will be hybrid, allowing members to attend physically or virtually. A link for virtual participation and meeting documents will be shared ahead of time.
