The Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) has announced its first Mediation Skills Accreditation and Certification Course for 2025, scheduled to take place in Abuja from February 3rd to 7th.

The five-day intensive training program, which will be held at the ICMC Mediation House on Musa Yar’adua Express Road, aims to equip professionals with essential conflict resolution and relationship management skills.

According to ICMC, the certification course, priced at N350,000, is open to professionals from all disciplines and vocations. Successful participants will be inducted into the Institute and awarded the prestigious AICMC (Associate Member, Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators) title.

“This training will provide participants with practical, concrete, and behaviorally specific techniques for managing conflicts and dealing more effectively with others,” an ICMC spokesperson said. The Institute emphasizes that mediation skills are crucial life-skills for building and sustaining relationships in both personal and professional settings.

The comprehensive program runs daily from 9am to 5pm, focusing on developing mediation as a “user-friendly” tool for everyday life. Interested participants can register through the Institute’s training department via email or phone.

For further information and registration, ICMC has provided contact channels through their training department at icmctrainings@gmail.com or via phone at +234 810 320 9095.

The Institute encourages its members to share details of this professional development opportunity with their networks, as it represents a significant step toward building a more skilled mediation community in Nigeria.
