APC picks Wase as Deputy Speaker, says Jibrin

The All Progressives Congress (APC) may have adopted Idris Wase (Plateau) as the Deputy Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives, it emerged on Saturday.

The hint was dropped by Abdulmumin Jibrin (Kano), who is the Director General (DG) of the Femi Gbajabiamila campaign council.

Gbajabiamila had been adopted by the party at a presidential dinner last month.

Jibrin, on his twitter account on Saturday, said any member of the APC caucus that fails to heed to party’s choice of Wase ultimately risked being sanctioned.
