The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Caucus, Akwa Ibom State Chapter has applauded some stakeholders of All Progressives congress for their outstanding performance and contribution during the last general elections that were held in February 23, and March 9, 2019.

All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Caucus, Akwa Ibom State Chapter (“Caucus”) is a frontline youth group within the APC and recognized by the Party hierarchy in Akwa Ibom State and nationally.
The Caucus felt the need to reappraise its activities, reorganize itself and position the group for a proper political participation and engagement having received reports of activities of some members of the Party across the State.
In communiqué issued at the end of an emergency meeting of APC National Youth Caucus, held on Saturday, 7th September 2019, and signed by the state Chairman, Obong Iniobong John and Secretary, Imoh Akpan respectively, the caucus delightfully expressed their gratitude to God almighty for safety on all members throughout the electioneering campaigns despite the outcome of the elections.
“Caucus also poured encomiums on the leadership of the Party and all its organs at the State, Local Government and Ward levels.
“The Caucus salutes all the Party’s Candidates at the February 23, and March 9, 2019 general elections for their tenacity and doggedness in the face of obvious institutional conspiracies and expresses hope that the Judiciary will live up to its bidding as the last hope of the common man.
“The Caucus wishes to thank very specially the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Mr. Nsima Ekere for his patriotism, large-heartedness, commitment to purpose and demonstrating rare leadership and magnanimity in the face of neck-breaking pressures.
Caucus pledges and affirms its continued and unconditional support and loyalty to Obong Nsima Ekere and his bid at the Governorship Elections Petitions Tribunal.
“The Caucus also deemed it fit to register its appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari for considering and appointing illustrious sons of Akwa Ibom State into sensitive positions of governance in the #Nextlevel agenda of the Federal Government.
“In this wise, the Caucus congratulates His Excellency, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, CON on his appointment as Honourable Minister of Niger Delta Affairs. It is the sincere hope and desire of Caucus that the Honourable Minister will bring his wealth of experience to bear on his new assignment and will continue to offer leadership to the Party at the State and beyond.
”The Caucus congratulates Senator (Dr) Ita Enang on his appointment as Senior Special Assistant to Mister President on Niger Delta.
“It is the view of Caucus that this appointment is not only well-deserved but a testimonial for the sterling performance of Senator Ita Enang at his previous assignment at the National Assembly.
It is our belief that President Muhammadu Buhari has, by these deliberate appointments, clearly set the tone for the accelerated development of the Niger Delta as a whole.
“The Caucus also congratulates Hon. Otobong Ndem and Victor Antai on their appointments into the reconstituted Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Board as Executive Director (Projects) and Commissioner representing Akwa Ibom State respectively.
“It is the fervent prayer of the Caucus that these appointments will engender peace and development in Akwa Ibom State as the individuals have demonstrated capacity and finesse at previous assignments.
“Caucus believes that without a resolution of all the issues around 2019 elections, there can be no meaningful futuristic discussion,” he added
