The Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, has announced that manual submission of Post-incorporation applications will close on March 31, 2021

Furthermore, the Commission says starting from March 8, manual submission shall be done using the new forms in the new Companies Regulations.

The Commission wishes to remind its esteemed Customers and the general public that the window for manual submission of post-incorporation applications dated not later than 31st December, 2020 remains open until Wednesday, 31st March 2021 after which date the window shall be closed and all applications shall only be submitted online.

Furthermore, starting from Monday, 8th March 2021, all post-incorporation applications to be submitted manually to the Commission shall be made using the new application forms in the Companies Regulations 2021 and as approved by the Honourable Minister FMITI. However, and without prejudice to the generality of the above paragraphs, from Monday, 8th March 2021 also, the following post-incorporation/registration applications shall only be submitted online –

1. Change of Name of Company, Business Name and Incorporated
Trustees.
2. Notice of Increase of Issued Share Capital.
3. Registration of Charges.
4. Notices and Returns in Receivership proceedings.
5. Notices and Returns in Winding Up proceedings.
6. Notice of Change in the general nature of business (Business Name).
7. Notice of Change in the address of the principal place of business
(Business Name).
8. Notice of Change in the Registered Trustees of an Association.
