About a year after the first edition of the Babalola’s Law Dictionary quiz competition, the second edition was even more dramatic as Abdul Abdulateef of Ikeji Shittu and Co. eventually emerged the winner in a keenly contested competition. The competition had in attendance, among other dignitaries, Mr. Yemi Akangbe, an aspirant to the Chairmanship position of the Nigeria Bar Association, Lagos branch.

During his speech, he expressed satisfaction with the purpose and contribution of the Babalola’s Law Dictionary quiz competition to the legal profession, especially the young lawyers. Also, in attendance was the chairman Nigeria Bar Association Young Lawyers Forum, ikeja branch, Mr. Ezekiel, among other dignitaries.

Nine (9) participants made it to the finals but Abdul Abdulateef, an associate at Ikeyi and Shittu emerged the winner, carting home the ultimate prize money courtesy of the firm of Perchstone and Grady’s.
