The Legal Education Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association has invited members of the legal profession, academia, industry stakeholders and the general public to the 2026 NBA Legal Education Summit.

The summit is scheduled to hold on Monday, May 25, 2026, at the NBA National Secretariat, Abuja, by 10:00 a.m.

According to the committee, the theme of the summit is: “Accelerating Legal Education Reform in Nigeria: Progress, Problems & Prospects.”

The event is expected to bring together leading voices from the Bar, the academic community and industry to critically examine the state of legal education in Nigeria and propose practical pathways for reform.

The committee said the summit will provide a platform for stakeholders to assess the progress made so far in legal education, identify existing challenges and develop bold ideas for repositioning legal training in Nigeria.
